03 · Beeton, specifically
Things that only
apply to Beeton.
Every one of the points below would be wrong if you swapped another town name into it. That is the test we hold this page to.
Beeton is named after bees. David Jones built a queen-bee breeding business here in the 1870s that made the village internationally known in apiculture, and the name stuck when the post office changed it from Clarksville. It is one of the few Ontario towns whose name is a straightforward description of its industry.
The Beeton Fall Fair, run by the South Simcoe Agricultural Society, is the fixed point in the village calendar. Between that and the South Simcoe Railway line that runs down from Tottenham, Beeton keeps a working village character that Alliston has largely grown out of.
Beeton is closer to Bradford than it is to any clinic in Barrie, and closer than driving to Newmarket. The route goes through Bond Head, which is in our own municipality, so you are effectively driving into the neighbourhood before you arrive.
New Tecumseth has no laser clinic and no nurse-practitioner-led aesthetics practice. Beeton residents drive for skin treatment regardless, and Bradford is the shortest of the available drives.
04 · The long version
Why Beeton clients
make the drive.
Named after bees, and still a village
Beeton was Clarksville until David Jones turned it into a centre of queen-bee breeding in the 1870s and the name changed to match the industry. Four and a half thousand people, a fall fair that has run for generations, and a heritage railway line coming down from Tottenham. It is a working village rather than a suburb, and it has stayed that way while Alliston, ten minutes north-west, has grown into a factory town.
The drive goes through our own municipality
Main Street east onto County Road 1, across to Highway 27, then a short hop south onto Highway 88 and east into Bradford. Twenty-two minutes.
The part worth knowing is that Highway 88 takes you through Bond Head, which is in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury. From the moment you turn east you are effectively in our municipality, and there is nothing between Bond Head and us but ten minutes of open road.
Why not Alliston
Alliston is closer to Beeton than Bradford is, and for most errands that is where you would go. For skin treatment it does not help, because New Tecumseth has no clinic running CO2 laser, Morpheus8 or BBL, and no aesthetics practice with a Nurse Practitioner as Medical Director.
Driving fifteen minutes to a place that does not offer what you need is not a shorter journey. It is a wasted one.
What is at the end of the drive
Alex Dinovich, FNP-PHC, licence 13564840, is our Nurse Practitioner and Medical Director. Kaitlyn Meli, Ashley Bravo and Yuliya Leonov are our RPN injectors. Maddie Lambert is our medical aesthetician. Dr. Erica Vriend, ND, is our naturopathic doctor.
The menu runs from Botox, Dysport and Xeomin, dermal fillers and Skinbooster through microneedling, HydraFacial and medical peels to CO2 laser resurfacing, Morpheus8, BBL and Plexr, plus medical weight loss, IV drips, hair loss treatment and pelvic floor strengthening.

Questions we get
from Beeton.
How do I get to you from Beeton?
Main Street east onto County Road 1, over to Highway 27, then south a short way to Highway 88 and east through Bond Head into Bradford. About twenty-two minutes.
Is Alliston not closer?
Alliston is closer in distance and does not have a laser clinic or a nurse-practitioner-led aesthetics practice. For skin treatment specifically, the shorter drive does not get you to the thing you are driving for.
What can I have done in a single visit?
A consultation and, where clinically appropriate, a first treatment the same day. Tell us you are travelling when you book so we can allow the time rather than splitting it across two trips.
Do you do anything for skin tags and moles?
Skin tag and milia removal are done here in one appointment. Moles are assessed rather than removed cosmetically without a proper look, because that is the responsible order to do things in.
What are your Saturday hours?
9am to 4pm, same as Fridays. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays we run to 7pm and Wednesdays to 5pm. Closed Sundays.
