What ZO Skin Health is
ZO is a physician-dispensed line, which means it is meant to be chosen for you rather than picked off a shelf. The selection we carry is deliberately smaller than the AlumierMD one and skews toward the active end: retinol at more than one concentration, antioxidant serums, exfoliating pads and targeted eye products.
Unlike AlumierMD, we hold and dispense this ourselves. There is no separate store to send you to.

Three things, going by the brand’s own descriptions of its products. First, graded retinol: Radical Night Repair is the high-potency 1% option and the Retinol Skin Brightener is 0.5%, and ZO’s own advice to anyone new to its retinol is to begin with the lower concentration and build tolerance. Second, growth factor technology, which appears in both the Growth Factor Serum and the Growth Factor Eye Serum. Third, Daily Power Defense, the antioxidant serum the brand describes as strengthening the skin’s protective barrier.
The range also covers two problems that are awkward to solve elsewhere in this shop. Rozatrol is the daily serum aimed at red, sensitive skin, which makes it relevant if rosacea is what you are managing. Instant Pore Refiner is a surface product for the look of enlarged pores and shine.
What we use it for
ZO tends to be the answer when somebody wants a short, active routine rather than a full collection: a cleanser, an antioxidant in the morning, a retinol at night. The Complexion Renewal Pads are the item we most often add to a routine that already exists, because they handle exfoliation and surface oil in one step for skin that is congested rather than inflamed.
For lines and wrinkles the Firming Serum and the eye range are the relevant part, and they sit alongside microneedling or Morpheus8 rather than replacing them. A serum does not remodel skin, and we will say so rather than let you find out slowly.
