Every one of the points below would be wrong if you swapped another town name into it. That is the test we hold this page to.
Bond Head and Bradford are the same municipality. You are in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, we are in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, and Highway 88 connects the two in ten minutes with no turns at all.
The Bond Head secondary plan will add several thousand homes to a hamlet that currently has a few hundred. Anyone moving in over the next few years arrives to a community with a golf club, a crossroads and essentially no services, which is worth knowing before you go looking for a clinic locally.
The Club at Bond Head sits just north of the hamlet with two eighteen-hole courses. If you play it regularly, you are getting four to five hours of direct sun several times a week through the season, on the same four or five patches of skin every time.
Highway 88 through Bond Head is the road, and the junction with Highway 27 at the crossroads is the only place it slows down. Coming east towards Bradford you are past it in thirty seconds.

Ten minutes and no turns
There is not much of a journey to describe here. Highway 88 leaves Bond Head heading east, crosses ten minutes of farmland, and becomes Holland Street West as it enters Bradford. We are at 444, on the north side, before you reach the Barrie Street lights.
You do not touch a highway, you do not make a turn, and you park in our lot when you get here.
Same municipality
Bond Head is in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury. So are we. That is a small administrative fact with a practical consequence: this is not a page about whether it is worth driving to another town. It is a page about the clinic in your own town, which happens to be at the other end of it.
Growth is coming, services are not here yet
The approved secondary plan will add several thousand homes to Bond Head over the coming years, which will change the hamlet substantially. What it will not do, at least in the near term, is bring a clinic, a pharmacy strip or medical services into the community itself.
Anyone moving into a new Bond Head build should assume that health and personal services are in Bradford. That is not a complaint about the hamlet, it is just how the timing works.
Golf skin
The Club at Bond Head is directly north of the hamlet with two full courses, and a lot of local residents are on them regularly through the season.
Four or five hours of unbroken sun, several times a week, on exactly the same areas each time: the ears, the bridge of the nose, the cheekbones and the back of the neck. A cap does nothing for any of those. Over enough seasons that produces both cosmetic pigmentation and, occasionally, something that needs a proper clinical look.
Our Medical Director, Alex Dinovich, is a Nurse Practitioner. That means the person assessing your skin is qualified to tell you when something is cosmetic and when it is not, which is the right way round for a golfer’s face.

How far is it really?

Are you in the same town as Bond Head?

I play a lot of golf. What should I be watching for?
The pattern to watch is the ears, the bridge of the nose, the cheekbones and the back of the neck, which is what a cap does not cover. If anything there is changing shape, colour or texture, get it looked at properly rather than treated cosmetically.
Do you do quick appointments?
Skin tag removal, milia removal and a neuromodulator top-up are all short. At ten minutes away, they are worth booking rather than putting off.
