What we use it for
Two AlumierMD professional peels sit on our own treatment menu, the GLOW Renew30 and the Power GLOW, alongside our AFA gel peel. If you have had a peel with us, you have probably already met this brand. Our peels page explains how the agent and the depth get chosen for your concern rather than sold as a single signature treatment.
The home range then does the work between appointments. The Prep & Enhance kits are built to prepare skin before in-clinic treatment. Recovery Balm and the HydraRescue mask are both positioned by their maker for post-procedure skin, which makes them the products we most often point people toward after microneedling, Morpheus8 or a peel.
What distinguishes it from the other lines we carry
Breadth, and graduated strength. The retinol comes at 0.25, 0.5 and 1.0, all encapsulated and time released, so somebody new to it can start low and move up rather than choosing between one strength and nothing. Pigmentation is addressed both with hydroquinone, in the Lightening Lotion at 2%, and without it, in EvenTone and Intellibright Complex. The sunscreens run mineral and hybrid, tinted and untinted.
It is also the only line here that sells complete numbered routines rather than individual products, which is genuinely useful for somebody starting from nothing. Compared with ZO Skin Health, which we stock and dispense ourselves, AlumierMD is the broader catalogue and the one bought directly from the brand.
