03 · Toronto, specifically
Things that only
apply to Toronto.
Every one of the points below would be wrong if you swapped another town name into it. That is the test we hold this page to.
Toronto is not short of clinics and we are not going to pretend it is. Bloor West, Yorkville and King West alone carry more medical aesthetics than the whole of Simcoe County. Nobody in Toronto should drive an hour for something available at Yonge and Eglinton.
The Toronto clients this page is written for are almost all people already heading north. Bradford is on the Highway 400 cottage corridor, the first exit past the Holland Marsh, which makes a Friday afternoon appointment on the way to Muskoka a real thing rather than a marketing idea.
The other Toronto pattern is people who grew up in the north end, moved into the city, and still come back up for family. If you are already spending a Saturday in Bradford or Newmarket, the appointment costs you no travel at all.
One thing that genuinely does not exist in downtown Toronto is a clinic where you park at the door for nothing. That is a small detail in the abstract and a large one when you are arriving for a laser appointment with numbing cream already on.
04 · The long version
Why Toronto clients
make the drive.
Let us start with the obvious
Toronto has more medical aesthetics than anywhere else in Canada. If you live at Yonge and St Clair and want Botox, there are probably a dozen clinics within a twenty minute walk, several of them excellent. We are an hour up Highway 400 and this page is not an argument that you should ignore all of them.
It exists because some of our clients do have Toronto addresses, and there are three honest reasons why.
Reason one: you are already going north
Bradford sits on the Highway 400 corridor at Exit 64, the first exit north of the Holland Marsh. Everything heading to Barrie, Muskoka, Georgian Bay and the Kawarthas passes within two kilometres of our door.
A Friday afternoon appointment on the way up, or a Sunday appointment on the way back, is not an hour of extra driving. It is a stop.
Reason two: family up here
The other common pattern is straightforward. People who grew up in Bradford, Newmarket, Innisfil or Barrie, moved into the city, and still come north most weekends. If you are spending Saturday with your parents in Holland Landing anyway, the drive is already happening.
Reason three: a specific combination
Alex Dinovich, FNP-PHC, is our Nurse Practitioner and Medical Director, licence 13564840. That means prescribing scope in the same appointment as the assessment. Alongside that, we run CO2 laser resurfacing and Morpheus8 together, and we have a naturopathic doctor, Dr. Erica Vriend, ND, working from the same clinic.
That combination, prescribing NP plus resurfacing devices plus naturopathic care in one building, is genuinely uncommon. If it is what you want, it may be worth the drive. If it is not, it is not.
Practical notes
Northbound on the 400 in the morning runs against the commuter flow and is quick. Southbound in the early afternoon is the same. Friday afternoons northbound in summer are the worst case, and can be an hour and a half.
Bradford GO on the Barrie line runs from Union, weighted heavily towards peak commuter service, so check the timetable if you want a midday appointment.

Questions we get
from Toronto.
Should someone in Toronto really drive to Bradford?
Only in specific circumstances. If you are already travelling north, if you have family in the area, or if you want a particular combination of treatments under one nurse-practitioner-led roof. For routine work, Toronto has hundreds of options and we would tell you to use one.
How long is the drive?
About an hour from downtown outside rush hour on Highway 400. Northbound in the morning and southbound in the early afternoon are both against the commuter flow. Friday afternoons northbound in summer are the worst case and can be considerably longer.
Can I get to you by train?
Bradford GO is on the Barrie line out of Union. Service is weighted towards the commuter peak, so check the timetable carefully if you want a midday appointment and a return the same day.
Can everything be done in one visit?
Where it is clinically appropriate, yes, and from Toronto we would plan it that way. Tell us the distance when you book.
Is there parking?
Free, in our own lot, directly outside the unit. No meters, no app, no garage.
